The Refreshment Rooms

Six of us piled in, appetites sharper than a Scouser’s wit, and left feeling like royalty after a feast fit for a king. The food was absolutely spot-on—every dish bursting with flavour and served in portions generous enough to hush even the loudest mate at the table. Service was a dream: friendly, speedy, and so attentive it felt like we had our own personal squad. A massive shoutout to their gluten-free range, which was more extensive than my auntie’s holiday slideshow—clearly labelled, delicious, and offering proper choice instead of the usual sad salad or token dish. Prices won’t break the bank, either, so you can leave with a full belly and your wallet still smiling. Five shiny gold stars all day long—highly recommended for a meal that hits every note perfectly!

Great food and service today. Quite peaceful as well so we were quite luck. Vegan roast was well liked as was the trio of meats Roast (beef, Lamb, pork belly) my son had the gluten free rib which where amazing
