The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea

The service was miserable. The waiter disappeared early on and that was the trend of the night. We had to get up to find someone to help us multiple times. It was so bad. Also, one of our party members had a gluten allergy which was part of our reservation, and the server was like “I’ll take the drink order and come back and explain what you can order that’s gluten free.” Then proceeded to disappear for a long time and completely forgot they said that. We waited an hour and 45 mins for our food and no one checked in on us and it was just awful. Several of our appetizers were lukewarm which makes me think the kitchen did everything right, and it just sat back there and that the server didn’t time things right at all. The food tasted good but just the worst service. Wouldn’t go back and can’t recommend. For how expensive that was, it was highly disappointing.

Muh. For the price ($440 for 2) not worth it AT ALL, bland food and below average service at best. Catered just ok for wife with gluten free needs considering the price. Paying $$$ for view mainly, so if you want a good view go at sunset but don’t expect gourmet dining but do expect to pay for it……
