A decent and well marked gluten-free options menu. Short staffed and unable to provide what they described as table service outside. Was made to feel really uncomfortable for such a pricey place with their idea of table service. Usually pub style you order food at the bar and when the food is served appropriate cutlery is brought with the meal. Not at this place! They also told us that ALL courses would be bought out together, as they didn't have anyone to check and clear the tables. Which was clearly a lie as someone did come out to collect dirty plates. So we had to order and pay for starters (which they did clear dispite telling us they had no one to clear tables) Then order and pay for main, and repeat again for desert.
I just resent paying the same price for bar service as for waitress service. How a place like that can't take a pre authorised card, or time 3 courses to come out one after the other I really am unsure. I feel the restaurant/ pub manager needs to rethink his customer service approach with this tactic.
