The Roebuck Inn

Neil has made this very pleasant pub into one that serves really good food. Today we visited after quite a while and I was honestly pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the pub itself . We ordered a simple fish chips mushy peas and was very impressed by the quality of the fish bone f your frozen mush here . Large flakes of cod or haddock. ( not sure ) with a light batter , gluten free option is available too. Happy friendly staff and a warm roaring open fire . Stopped drinking so a couple of J2o orange drinks and a very reasonable £29 bill . We will be back as along with the nearby black Ladd , Printers and excellent Morning Star we are being spoilt with such great food locally at the moment but this is my new favourite place . Highly recommended

Just been for the first time in years and they have "up'd" thier game. Food was very good and thier allergy menu was great. Im gluten free and they have a range of gf foods. Service was very good. Its the better end of pubs and pub food.
