Great friendly service, good to see plenty of gluten free meals on the menu for coeliacs. Good food, plenty of it. Lovely view.

I have had the good fortune to visit the Rowing Pavilion for lunch and dinner a number of times recently and the food has been consistently outstanding. Service is fast and efficient and staff really seem to be well trained and know what they are doing. Food quality is very high and beautifully fresh, plenty of gluten free options available and portion sizes very generous! Recently I enjoyed the Pan Fried Barramundi in broth, it was extraordinarily delicious!! I cant wait to have it again soon. 10/10 for the chef and kitchen staff. They have their act together and clearly know how to prepare delicious food. Rowing Pavilion also have a great selection of drinks and non-alcoholic options to pair with your meal or shared plates. Parking can be a challenge, but don't let that put you off. Arrive a little earlier to get a spot, car pool or catch the train or an Uber and avoid the stress. Rowing Pavilion is worth the visit and won't disappoint. Fabulous casual place to meet friends and enjoy a drink and delicious food!

What an unacceptable experience with event staff and food service. Guests with food allergies at the event became unwell! We asked the waitresses if certain catered food was gluten free, which they both repeatedly replied with a confident “yes.” I went and asked the chef, who said no. I have Coeliac disease. How hard is it to have a basic understanding of what they’re serving. The event organiser was informed that mostly GF options were to be provided. It was requested that GF items to be labelled on the trays, which didn’t happen.
