NOT SAFE FOR PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES - My family had dinner here on June 22. My sister immediately and repeatedly told our server that she has Celiac disease, and therefore cannot have gluten. Our server initially tried to *guess* what items on the menu were gluten free. We asked her to ask the kitchen which items would be safe to eat. When she returned, she informed us that many items could be made gluten free by being served without sauce (which is sad, but okay), but that the ribs were gluten free. My sister ordered the ribs, and was then up all night throwing up from gluten poisoning, and was sick for the rest of the week likely due to the harm done to her immune system. It was super upsetting seeing a restaurant taking such a lax approach to food allergies. We would have preferred that they tell us they didn’t know which items were safe to eat rather than put the health of a customer at risk.
Other than that drinks were quite good, dragon’s milk was the favorite at the table. Food okay-to-good depending on the order, Spam Musubi and pineapple fried rice were the favorites of what we (non-celiac family members) tried. Atmosphere was excellent
