Despite being very busy with a large Christening party upstairs the service and the food were delivered with speed kindness and efficiency. The gentleman who took our order was particularly attentive to my disabled 95 year old mother who does not go out very much and was most appreciative of his thoughtfulness. The portion sizes were just right as she can get fazed like a number of old people by huge platefuls of food. My daughter is celiac so cannot take gluten and her girlfriend is vegan so all the options were taken care of very well. A very enjoyable lunch and we shall be back.

Great pub and good food. Good selection of beer including those from the microbrewery next door. Was even a gluten free beer on tap.
