The Rusty Melon

This was my first time to the Rusty Melon. They have gluten free options and their fries are gluten free and they are good! Sometimes the seasoning on the fries has gluten. Not here. I had the beet salad. So good and tasty! Prices are good too.

My wife, son, and I went to the Rusty Melon before going to Colorado Railbike Adventures. We wanted something that was close and that could accommodate my very annoying gluten allergy. They do have a dedicated fryer that is for gluten free items. I very much appreciated that. We ordered the nachos without any meat because we were going to have meat with our mains. It was pretty good. My son ordered the mini corn dogs and fries. He liked them. My wife ordered the French Dip Sandwich. She liked that. She really liked how crunchy the bread was. I ordered the Classic Burger with a gluten free bun. The bun was really good. I typically just have my burgers wrapped in lettuce because the gluten free buns are not very good, but this one was. I wanted to order the Rattlesnake or Rusty burger, but not all the ingredients were gluten free. The fries were really good. I recommend that. What we liked best, other than the fries, was the Beet salad. We very much recommend that. The balsamic glaze was great.
