The Sanctuary Cafe

We visited the Sanctuary Cafe last year and was so pleased to find it thriving this year. The staff are friendly and the food is great, really nice for me to have great tasting food that can be prepared as Gluten Free. The English breakfast is so tasty with freshly prepared ingredients. A big shout out to the Chef, she manages to juggle so many things at once and always has a smile. Keep up the good work everyone.

Went here based on reviews and the fact that had Gluten free (GF) options. GF Not by choice but due to allergy intolerance. It was very average in my opinion. Food was just ok but the service was poor. Our main server was quite short and not at all friendly. The other server was much friendlier. We ordered 2x English breakfasts with GF options and 2x regular English B’fasts…..requesting twice that the sausages (not GF) be served separately. The server was more interested in rushing us to tell her how we wanted our eggs than listen to the request about keeping the sausages separate. When the food came the sausages were still on the GF plates so two people had to avoid eating the food that was in contact with the sausages. Considering the price it was generally a poor experience and should have eaten breakfast at the Irish pub.
