The Sanctuary Cafe Dicky Beach

I have been at caravan park across the road for 2 weeks and have loved coming to this cafe the food and service has been amazing always friendly and helpful and to top it all off they do gluten free food. It’s been wonderful to have someone else do the cooking for me

Rarely do you find such delicious gluten free fish and chips. Well done, and the service was good and quick too! Recommend.

No idea if the food is any good, as we got turned away at 1:31 pm because the kitchen closed at 1:30. The website said they were open til 8pm but the girl at the counter said they may reopen at 4 or 5 pm or not at all. This was disappointing as, given I’m a coeliac, I can’t just go elsewhere. We had been looking at the menu board for a good 5 mins with no one saying the kitchen was about to close & no signage to that effect. Luckily the IGA two doors down had Tyrrell’s crisps so we didn’t starve but felt very disappointed with the lack of clarity around times & way it all played out. So here’s hoping this message saves some people the same disappointment.
