The Sandwich Station

Very disappointing! After asking for gluten free, the lady behind the counter took the point to joke about this, then went on to get the order wrong, even though I had only asked for a plain cheese wrap. I was then given the plain cheese wrap only to discover when back in the car the wrap was not gluten free! Shocking experience, and left feeling embarrassed as the counter was very busy with customers.

Easily and by more than a country mile the best sandwich I have ever eaten I am strictly gluten free and vegan by choice; imagine how many sandwich shops I can get anything: almost zero, no problem here though. Not only could I find something it was absolutely delicious and the staff are wonderful too. To make matters worse I’m very allergic to caffeinated coffee no problem here they do decaf. Definitely going back for another world’s best sandwich before catching the ferry to the Campbeltown peninsula.
