Great vibe and food in this rustic neighbourhood bar. Our server was friendly and helpful although wasn’t knowledgeable about the cabbage dish. He was happy to help accommodate dietary requirements though. They will even cook chips in separate oil for those dinners wanting to avoid gluten and can breadcrumb fish in place of batter if required.

It's a totally amazing restaurant. Family and dog friendly, too. Staff are just lovely, very knowledgeable, and not at all intrusive. Cater for gluten-free and only a few dishes were unavailable as gluten-free, which is a huge bonus for me. The food is fantastic. The Islay Oysters were to die for, I could have had them for mains, too! The scallop dish was really lovely, too. We both had the wagu burger and chips, which was the nicest burger we've ever had and proper chips, too. Our 2 collies loved watching the restaurant go by from the table, and the staff made their evening by giving them attention before we left. Will definitely come back.
