Nice pub with very tasty food. Had the cod special and it was really nice. They also have a good selection of gluten free options. It's looks like it's very popular, so worth booking a table ahead. We were there right after they opened for the evening on a Sunday and managed to get a table without reserving, but people coming 30 minutes after us were turned away

We went for dinner to celebrate a 60th with all the family, 10 in total, of which our grandson is coeliac. Jason was very informative about the gluten free options so felt safe in ordering him the fish & chips, which he loved, and ate the lot. The staff were really lovely and welcoming and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you

Lovely visit in the evening. Great friendly service by all the staff and we had plenty of time to sit and chat. Food was great and superb choice. All well presented and hot. The deserts were proper ones! Recommended. Gluten free options were available and delicious, including a number of desserts such as cheesecake and rhubarb crumble.
