Glad we found this lovely old Pub. Friendly & welcoming, excellent service, delicious home cooked food, the chips were perfect, friendly locals, great to find somewhere that’s dog friendly & does gluten free options.

Had a smashing meal at The Ship last week,my daughter had a steak pie and said it was the best gluten free pie ever! I had the same and have to agree. I actually hadn't known I was eating gluten free.There were 10 in our party and none of us had space left to sample anything from the sweet menu afterwards. The lady who runs the pub is a real gem as well, we had to cancel the later meal booking that we had made for the Thursday of the Queen's Jubilee due to illness and she was so sympathetic, sending us a lovely message wishing us a swift recovery. If we get back to Muston in the future, the Ship will certainly be on the itinerary.
