We were in Ripon for a stop on the way home to Shropshire and wanted lunch. The sign board outside Silva Bells told us two important things, dogs allowed and gluten free catered for. It is amazing how you sometimes have to actually ask about these two issues.
Lunch was great. The staff were brilliant, food was well cooked and presented, the dog got a bowl of water and a bonio and my gluten intolerance was catered for in a knowledgeable way. The only small issue was the wait between ordering and food arriving which was a bit too long.
Notwithstanding we really enjoyed our visit and if we go back to Ripon we will go back for another meal at Silva Bells.
