After cycling past the sign outside advertising their home cooked gluten free menu I thought we'd give it a go. My wife's coeliac so eating gluten-free is annoyingly important. The menu is good and there are many GF options on it, the wife had fish and chips and I had a curry, we both had pudding. All the food was freshly cooked, quickly served and very nice. The staff were lovely and provided great service, they obviously care about what they're doing. Regarding atmosphere - it's a proper local pub that happens to serve good food, has the atmosphere of a local pub and a great playlist. If you want some fancy gastro-pub where food is twice the price and the atmosphere is different, this probably isn't it.
