The Smashed Olive

Went for a late lunch on a Sunday. Smashed Olive is cozy friendly place. Service was great and proceeded to have the best Gluten free pizza I ever had. I don't eat pizza often, so it was truly a treat. Also appreciated the Gluten free only menu and Vegetarian only menu to make informed ordering decisions.

I was excited to see the sign out front indicating a gluten-free menu. I sat in the bar area and enjoyed the conversation with Amber, the bartender. She recommended the pizza over the pasta; I'm glad I listened to her. I had a fabulous gluten-free pizza and a watermelon basil black pepper cocktail. The pizza looked so much like a regular pizza, Amber checked three times with the kitchen for me to confirm it was gluten-free. A very light cauliflower crust that was amazing. I will be back!!

Traveling back from NY and had to go out of our way to find gluten free options I was interested in and I am so happy we landed here. Gluten free fried calamari app was a generous portion which was more than enough to be my meal . They even brought gluten free bread and olive tapenade to start which if you eat gluten free you understand that is a rare and exciting occurrence. My bf got a burger and Parmesan fries that were great and they had IPA’s on tap that he was very happy about. The house Pinot was excellent as well and we ended with the crème brûlée for dessert. Food was great and service was impeccable!!
