The Smoked Taco

I think I just found my new favorite restaurant! My husband and I went here on a date; we both got the OG taco and some chips and queso, and it tasted SO good! The pork was so tender and sweet and juicy, and the coleslaw was amazing…and the queso is to die for!!! Another thing that I loved about this place is that they have lots of gluten free options which is great, because I recently found out that I can’t eat gluten and have been wondering which restaurants have good gluten free options. Next time I go I would like to try the Memphis Taco and I will definitely be ordering the queso again! You can also get loaded queso, with things like guacamole and other add-ins.

Smoked Taco is excellent! Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The bird and the fleeing Californian are excellent. My wife and sister in-law are celiac and this is one of their favorite places. They are really good about cross-contamination.

I had heard of this place and was very excited to go there because I am gluten free but the food was edible at best my taco was a dry hunk of meat with a few onions and almost no sauce. I ordered the fries after being told they were fried in a gf fryer. After I paid she told me their main fryer broke and they had to use the gf fryer but it had been a couple of days so it should be fine. At that point the fries were ruined for me so I was not feeling like causing a scene so I just gave them away to a friend
