The Social Tap

Passed by The Social Tap several times on my way back from a chiropractic appointment in Jane Lew to my apartment in Bridgeport. Looked it up online and saw that it had good reviews. Last evening, my partner and I were trying to decide where we wanted to eat, but we didn't want to go to the typical places. I happened to think of The Social Tap as a possibility, but I wasn't sure about the type of food they served. My partner is accustomed to eating food high in carbs, but I am gluten and dairy free. 🙁 I figured worst-case, I could get a salad. Looking over the menu after we found a table, I decided on the Rothesburger, which is typically served on a bun with cheddar cheese and served with fries. I ordered mine sans bun, cheese, ketchup and fries. Honestly, it was one of the best burgers I've had when dining out for a long time! My partner ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and ate the whole thing, so I assume it was good. 😆 All in all, we had a very enjoyable evening, and we plan to make The Social Tap a regular spot.
