Gary the chef went above and beyond to cater for our needs as my son has a wheat allergy and the chef made him a gluten free pizza also putting my mind at ease that it would be prepared in a controlled environment to avoid contact with other foods. Great service all around amazing place. Cannot fault the service 5 stars and will definitely be coming back.

Thursday evening 5.15pm called in a nearly empty pub and requested the gluten free menu. Not yet got one but willingly offered to write down which dishes were gf. Also they had gf peroni which was good. A little wait for food but when it arrived was of excellent quality. My wife had salmon and I had the chicken and veg pie with chips and veg. Only one cask ale was on as they hadn't got a lot of customers. Would recommend enthusiastically. This pub needs supporting. More customers mean more cask ales and the food was really good. Will soon be returning!
