Nice enough pub and rooms. Our double room had a king size bed, plenty of space and a nice bathroom with fab shower.
We weren't without challenges, the heating didn't initially work and the first night in the pub they hadn't had their food delivery and it was a comedy of errors.
But the friendly evening bar lady Julie and breakfast cook Laura more than made up for it. They were honest, fun, hard working and couldn't do enough for us. All problems resolved.
They catered for my gluten free needs with their fab breakfast. Some of the dinner offerings could be improved, but was good basic stuff.
If Julie and Laura work there, I'd happily stay again!
