On holiday with my parents, we were looking for somewhere local to the holiday accommodation for a quick and tasty meal out. We decided to try the 'Fishy Friday' offer at the Star Inn (fish, chips and mushy peas for £10). I made the booking by email and the confirmation came through really quickly - a good start! On arrival, a friendly welcome and our table was ready. The food was delicious and a generous portion! Huge thanks for providing a gluten free option so that my dad (who is coeliac) could also partake. A special thanks to the bar staff who let us know where to find some of the coronation decorations they had up inside the pub so my mum could get some to take home!! Excellent service, great food, lovely atmosphere - very happy to recommend the Star Inn to anyone in the Hayle/St Erth area looking for a good meal/drinks.
