Heated patio, amazing food, and lots of gluten free and soy free options!

I've been going to The Sudra on and off over the years as they've changed locations. The food is consistently interest and pretty tasty but not enough to ever have me craving it. With outdoor seating and a fair number of gluten-free (though never clearly marked) items on they're menu it has still drawn me back time and again as somewhere good for dates or hanging out with friends... Except that over the years consistently the service has been poor. Servers/bartenders are consistently standoffish and surly. I've always gotten a lot of scornful put-upon attitudes in relation to any questions. Also last time i went I ordered (unfortunately inside despite COVID times) and grabbed a table outside, one of several open, to only be told that all of those tables were waiting on guests that they had called to let know the tables were available... There were no signs indicating reservations, no signup sheet, and no offer from staff to put me and my guest on whatever invisible waiting list might have existed. I hate to leave a bad review for a vegan place, but after lots of opportunities for this place to change my opinion it never has.
