Lovely friendly village pub on the 7 mile Ellesmere circular walk. Excellent lunch stop off. Good selection of beers with a very good menu, including gluten free options. Plenty of space and nooks inside to eat or relax in. Great atmosphere with a wood fire, plus tables to sit outside in the garden next to the big car park.

Excellent B&B in comfortable ensuite accommodation. Despite overlooking the road and being above the bar the room was quiet and we slept extremely well. In addition to the bedroom door lock the 3 accommodation rooms are secured by another door with a key code entry pad. Free car parking is provided in the Inn's private car park. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was simply amazing, fruit juices, cereals, yogurt, fruit and a full individually prepared cooked English breakfast followed by toast and preserves. Tea and coffee also included. The cooked English breakfast was outstandingly good with gluten free and vegetarian diets catered for. Without a doubt this was one of the best breakfasts I've enjoyed for many years. Overall an excellent stay that was so good I've already booked again.
