The Swan Taphouse

I needed a place to stay near Telford, and this came up as available on booking.com. The price was very reasonable, which included a good breakfast that was gluten-free. A very warm, friendly welcome. There were no issues with the stay. If you are looking for corporate (soulless) perfection, it's not your place. It's a nice pub and has got loads of character, and I plan on returning because I'm a happy customer! If I were to offer a suggestion for improvement, it would be to offer filter coffee for breakfast. The stay was such good value that I'll just bring my own next time, no problem. Thanks for a great stay.

Amazing food. We had the roast chicken dinner and a double bacon cheeseburger and both couldn't have been better. The taste, consistency and portions were perfect. Only thing I'd love to see differently is more substitutions in place of products taken off of dishes due to gluten allergies. 9/10, will come again.
