Yet another pub who cannot accommodate for gluten free Sunday lunch. Another Sunday lunch where I just had meat and veg, yet still had to pay full price! We called up the three blackbirds to ask what their Sunday lunch gluten free option was and they assured us it would have all the trimmings; Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese etc (items which aren’t difficult to make GF) this made me so excited to try it out! Unfortunately it did not meet my expectations, and the gentleman who was serving us wasn’t very apologetic and just blamed it on the ‘central call centre’ which make all their bookings. This was a bit of a shoddy excuse in my opinion, however the waitress who served us was very sweet and apologetic for what had happened. Alas, we did not try the dessert menu as I didn’t feel like giving anymore money, as they charged me full price for what felt like half a meal. GF is not difficult to do, especially as we gave them plenty of notice to accommodate the allergy.
