The Vancouver Fish Company

Came here yesterday for a meal. The oysters were great. Our entrees were just okay. I got the lobster roll and found it to be a bit dry. My mom got the chick pea hummus salad and didnt love it. The view was beautiful. Our service was just okay. Our server didnt go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with the gluten free options. We wouldnt come here again.

I had dinner with my parents here this evening, and the food was as exceptional as the service. All three of us ordered seafood dishes, and everything was cooked to absolute perfection. They were very accommodating for my father who has Celiac disease (so he can't have gluten). And I watched all evening as our server, Cody waited on multiple tables at a time, not once stopping to take notes—all the while maintaining super attentive service and accuracy of our orders. At one point, my father needed to run to the car to grab some medication he'd forgotten, and Cody offered, unprompted, to put his entrée under a heat lamp until he returned. This is probably the nicest dinner we've had in a long time, and that was due to the extremely skilled chefs in the kitchen and the amazing service we received at our table. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!! Unrelated: The hand soap in the women's restroom smells amazing! Thank you so much for a truly incredible evening, Cody! We'll definitely have to take you on a spin on our yacht when we save up enough to buy one!! 😂
