The Vegan Cafe

I decided to try new food this year to eat more healthy and I came across Healthy Sins which I am glad. To begin I didn’t know what to order as I am new to vegan food and Margareta (misspelled sorry) was very informative of all the ingredients and even allowed us to sample the food. We ordered the white lasagna, pizza and nachos…ALLL VEGAN NO GLUTEN JUST PLAIN CLEAN EATING😊Overall the food was good and I will be back soon. Thank you for your great hospitality.

The Vegan Cafe is an excellent all vegan cafe in a Joliet area devoid of plant-based restaurants. The owner, Marguerite is gracious and it seems that she genuinely cares about making available raw, gluten-free, vegan dining to a public that is widely unfamiliar with the concept. I decided on the half order of Margherita Pizza which comes with a side salad. I chose the fruit salad. The pizza is quite flavorful, so much so that I regretted not getting the full order. I tried the brownies and both the chocolate and vanilla macaroons. I was satisfied with my entire desert, however, the vanilla macaroons are excellent! The Lockport community is lucky to have this dining experience!
