Loved coming here for breakfast while we were in town. Highly recommend. And they have gluten free waffles. Call beforehand in case they are sold out though. Even the kids loved their breakfast. I'm not a waffle person but I had to have their waffles. They are that good.

If you are a waffle fan, this is the place to go in San Diego! Great waffles - including the Gluten free one (every bit as good as the regular one). Chicken and Waffles, pancakes, omelets and other breakfast fare. Unfortunately they discontinued the Pecan waffle, but still fabulous. They share location with The Amigo Spot (Mexican-ish) so on different days, different sides of the restaurant are open. Kitzchy seasonal decor and occasionally a character in a giant waffle suit (though he's a square waffle, and they serve round, which bothers me...)
