Girls weekend away in Leura and we stumbled across this gem! Coffee is excellent and a fantastic menu, with lots of gluten free options too. The owner was very friendly and accommodating with everyones needs.

‼️ COELIACS BEWARE - DO NOT EAT HERE ‼️ I had read great feedback about this cafés GF options, so I was really egar to try it out during our school holiday outting with our 8 year old halfling. 😊 With much excitement, I ordered the pulled prok burger (GF naturally) from the friendly staff. An amazing looking burger and chips arrived, I happily double checked with Staff and was gatunteed, "yes" it was GF. 🤤 After a doubtful look from hubby, I approached the kitchen & double, double checked again. "Yes" they said. I asked "so the chips are cooked in their own fryer? Not where all fried food is cooked", suddenly the staff paused and it dawned on them. An awkward glace to each other, and I recieved a "yeah no, their not GF or Coeliac safe" response.😒 As someone who usually needs to attend hospital when having a gluten poisoning episode, I was pretty upset that such disregard had been displayed for what is a serious allergy (not dietary choice) and takes between 3-6 months for intestinal damage to repair (If repair is possible) I wasn't offered an alternative, apology or replacement and to make matters worse, we were charged $30 more than we actually ordered 🤦🏻‍♀️! If you are GF by choice, the food looked amazing - enjoy my friends!! If you are a Ceoliac, don't eat here, it is run on dangerous assumptions and poor menu disclosures. Best be safe and avoid at all cost's! Carmél the ceoliac! ✌🏻
