The Whistle Inn and Park

Called in after a walk with a walking group, I just had a cup of coffee as they didn't have any vegan cake. Oat milk sachets which I have never seen before, provided by the coffee machine. They also didn't have gluten free cake which a member of our group asked for but they did say if we call in advance they will get gluten free from the freezer. Very clean and tidy bar, very clean toilets. Clean and tidy outdoor tables, water provided for dogs. Very polite, friendly staff who make you feel welcomed despite some rude customers. Would definitely visit this pub again if nearby

We have just had a fantastic meal at the Whistle Inn. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. The chef is really passionate about the food he cooks and the two dishes we had were cooked to perfection with a modern twist. He came out of the kitchen to have a chat to us explaining the dishes. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Perl Las chicken and I could not fault the steak and ale pie with red wine jus. The gluten free special Jaffa cake cake was stunning. Keep up the good work👍
