Had friends visiting from the south of the country, and after touring the Peak District needed to find a pub/restaurant with a gluten free option. Upon investigation the White Hart fit the bill perfectly.
On arrival the car park is accessed from a side road, and is quite compact, particularly on a busy evening. If using the car park you must enter your registration on the screen on arrival in the bar area.
A good range of beers (Dancing Duck brewery), wines and spirits are available.
There are dine-in, and beer garden/patio dining options. The patio area is covered, and has patio heaters.
We dined outside (with heater on). The menu had a good variety of tempting dishes, and the gluten free member of our party was given a gluten free adapted menu which was a nice touch.
The food was excellent, and the service very good and attentive without being intrusive.
The atmosphere was nice and balanced with a good feel to it.
Definitely worth a visit.
