What a cracking pub and bistro pub, service is excellent and the food is superb. What’s great is the Gluten Free options…I cannot recommend this pub enough. You won’t be disappointed.

A real 'local' with friendly bar dining or more formal dining room. The atmosphere in the bar was informal, warm and friendly.
The set lunch is excellent value and although not large was filling and very tasty. The confit duck was a superb mix of crispy skin and melt in the mouth meat. A share of the excellent dauphinoise potatoes did not overpower the dish although they weren't strictly necessary!
Gluten free friendly too with gluten free bread being served without a problem.
