I love an English cottage and holidaying in the UK so I’ve been to a few. However it’s easy to see how kingham cottages have such a fabulous reputation . The cottage itself is stunning but the service and little touches are outstanding. The manager let us in at 12pm to unload our cool box into the fridge rather being strict with the 4pm arrival time. There was jam, butter, bread and all the ‘extras’ like oil, milk, coffee pods you could need. They even had a little gluten free hamper for me as I’d mentioned it in my booking. There was a note for the bride to be welcoming her and wishing her well for her upcoming wedding remembering I’d said she was getting married in Italy! They really did make the experience absolutely wonderful!

Our booking included our four year old daughter, my wife's best friend who is gluten and dairy free, my wife and myself. I'm a restaurant consultant and my clients hold a combined 13 Michelin stars. This place blew us all away - especially Tasmin's knowledge and Ryan's warmth of personality. This team seemed like they'd performed this service together for decades. To learn that the front of house staff had only been working together for three months was astounding, given their professionalism and attention to detail. The management team here at The Wild Rabbit are Michelin standard for their ability to deliver this level of service. As are the kitchen team. I expect big things from this restaurant team and will definitely be a regular.
