This was the first time my hubby and I have been in this restaurant, and it's a great place. I ordered a gluten-free grilled cheese and he ordered a burger. The sandwiches came with fries, which can be cross-contaminated with wheat from the deep fryers, but substitutions were offered. We just ate the fries, which were crunchy and salty. We ordered gluten-free buns for the sandwiches. Those buns were amazing, so soft and tasty.
The Tavern was very crowded and the only people wearing masks were the wait staff. If you worry about getting Covid, you might look elsewhere.

I thought the staff was very friendly, and the waitress answered all of my questions about what could be Celiac-friendly/gluten free. I had the Wildwood grilled cheese on GF bun which was DELICIOUS with a house salad.
