Went for dinner and it was excellent! The scallop risotto was the special that evening and it was delicious. Also had the jerk chicken risotto and cheesecake for dessert. Our group was also very happy about all of the gluten free options on the menu.

I love the menu at both locations but food has gone majorly downhill in the past few years at Alderney. Hands down worst meal I’ve ever had in all honesty. My daughter and I both got fish and roasties (mine were sweet potato) but she couldn’t eat her roasties because they were covered in a spicy seasoning. I thought she was being dramatic until I ate one. I’m not sure why anyone would put that on a kids menu?! The fish was on the dry side, but there was zero seasoning making it worse, and by the time I could flag someone down for the tartar sauce I ordered with it but didn’t get we decided to pack it in and just get the bill. Usually I don’t mind paying for quality, local ingredients, especially for a lot of gluten free options like they do, but left feeling like I’d rather have saved the money and grabbed a lettuce burger on the way home.

Great service. Nice coastal vibes. Mediocre food. Terrible drinks. Bad Prices. Best ocean view. Don't expect a gourmet experience. Go for the views and get a sharable snack. The Vegan + veggie + gluten free options are great but portions + quality are inconsistent. Dinner quality is better than lunch. But it's worth a visit and great for tourists.
