The World Bar

Came here for an early dinner with my husband. Friendly staff, though service was interesting, in that we got an appetizer to share (cauliflower bites), but no plate to split them. So we ate over napkins. No biggie. Then our mains arrived. He had the fish & chips & I had the Caesar salad. Not terrible, but also not as good as we’d hoped. Standard Pub food, I suppose. I had high hopes for this place, based on the fish tacos reviews (ended up not getting them because I didn’t realize they weren’t gluten-free. ). Likely had we stuck with the plan, we would not have been so disappointed – but as it stands, we both walked away from our meals, feeling that the food was not quite worth the price. That said, it looked like it’s probably a pretty fun bar. Simply not my choice for food.

One of the best gluten free buns I’ve had. Also highly recommend the KFC chicken burger if you don’t have celiac, if was incredible. Beef burger and fries just ok.
