Third Wave Cafe & Wine Bar

I’ve always been a fan of Third Wave, but our most recent visit left something to be desired. The menu felt unclear, making it difficult to distinguish between entrées, appetizers, and small plates. Service was underwhelming, and unfortunately, many menu items were unavailable. Our server also seemed unsure about gluten-free options, which was disappointing. That said, the ambience remained as charming and inviting as ever—one of the consistent highlights of dining here.

This place is amazing. Pretty, friendly, welcoming.... And the food! Oh my, the food!! We want to go back and try everything on the menu. They also accommodated our friend's gluten allergy very well.

I will start by saying I don't give five stars if I like a place (it happens too often in Google). I will note the hours in Google are incorrect, the restaurant doesn't open until 9 am. The atmosphere is very cool and interesting, and a great place for brunch. While there is some seating in the coffee shop, most of the seating is in a courtyard under cover, so not great if it is cold or rainy (they do have heaters). The brunch items ran between $16 to $24, and mimosas were $8 each, so this is on the pricey side. I was early and outside were some chickens and a rooster (not owned by the restaurant). The menu doesn't readily accommodate those with gluten or dairy allergies. I will say it is something different than other places on Flagler. I hope this helps.
