Thomas House was a hidden gem. I had the ribs, and they were unsurpassed in tenderness and flavor. My wife had the fried chicken, which was very tender. My wife said it was the best chicken she had ever eaten, and that's saying a lot. We were greeted immediately upon arrival. I have Celiac Disease and cannot eat gluten. Although their menu had no gluten-free designations, our host, who had greeted us graciously, worked with me by communicating with the chef, and I ended up with a wonderful gluten-free meal. The atmosphere is straightforward like the diners of bygone years, and frankly, it was a good feeling. We will eat there again and recommend this hidden treasure to our friends and family.
