Thyme Café

Lovely friendly atmosphere from the moment we walked in. We chose a seat in the window and were promptly served some water and provided with menus. I asked about gluten free options as I'm coeliac and I was pleasantly surprised at the knowledge the waitress had around the menu. She went through the whole menu with me stating how each dish could be amended. Then she double checked a few dishes with the chef too. It was fantastic to have such a positive experience, I didn't manage to get the waitresses name but her service was second to none! So thank you. Great food, good selection of drinks and a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Would be great if you had a gf menu or listed the gluten free options on your main menu. It would definitely bring in more custom 😀

Popular place on the Friday night we had booked, luckily. Great choice of dishes on the menu and we had made them aware of dietary issues beforehand so they did offer a choice of the dishes without gluten and dairy. The food we had was very good as looked all the dishes we saw delivered to other tables nearby. Seating is quite basic and tables are quite close but it was comfortable. Not a lot of parking nearby as it's in a busy area.
