Had chicken fettuccini alfredo. The pasta was overcooked, very soft. The chicken almost felt like it had been boiled or cooked in a crowded skillet. There was no browning on it. The sauce was bland, it kind of tasted like nothing but fat. You kind of Alfredo sauce to taste strongly of Parmesan and butter. This just had a neutral. It had a nice texture, but didn’t taste of Parmesan even a little bit. I assume they use some kind of neutral oil instead of butter.
Had lobster bisque. couldn’t really tell if it even tasted like lobster because they spiced it heavily so it had kind of a southwest flavor. It was like eating a can of soup.
The breadsticks were pretty good. They had a nice chew to them and they weren’t overly soft.
The calamari tasted nice. We got it to go and they didn’t vent the container so it was a little bit soggy, but still crispy enough. They also mixed it with wet vegetables for transport instead of separating them. The dipping sauce was good, but I think it just came out a bottle.
It was about what I would’ve had expected getting those dishes in a cafeteria.
The staff was very nice and accommodated our order, even though they were very busy and the restaurant itself looked very nice dark and comfortable .
Had gluten free pasta which is nice.
