I don't understand why the dishes at the buffet are explained so well but at the end they prepare me a cappuccino with oat milk (just because I didn't specifically ask for cow's milk). As a celiac disease sufferer, I rely on a gluten-free diet and am quite disappointed with how carelessly certain employees at Tibits deal with the topic of "food intolerances". Unfortunately, I have definitely lost my trust in Tibits thanks to my severe stomach cramps. Too bad! Trends are probably given greater weight than serious illnesses.

The ambience is inviting, almost cozy, the atmosphere is as great as the dishes on the rich buffet and the list of exceptional luxury drinks. Everything is there for everyone, even if you can't tolerate gluten, lactose, sugar or histamines or want to eat completely vegan. You have to wait in line for a relatively long time because others seem to appreciate the place just as much. It remains: me. Love. This one. Location!

My absolute favorite restaurant is Tibits in Basel. I love the different offerings of hot and cold dishes that make you happy without meat. I particularly liked the many dishes with different legumes. Everything is well marked so that even allergy sufferers can find their way around without any problems. I also like that people affected by celiac disease are taken into consideration. If I can wish for something, it would be a visit to Tibits
