This is a great place for an afternoon tea if you are gluten free. Very clued up about cross contamination and a fab variety of sweet treats and delicate sandwiches. The gluten free bread is some of the best I have eaten. My favourite is their gluten free scone-fluffy and delicious.
The surroundings are lovely and the roaring fires on a cold day are very welcome. The staff have always been attentive and chatty.

Very nice. Had afternoon tea and mine was all gluten free. Plenty of pots of tea they kept filling them up. Staff serving wore masks for covid.
The plates and cups and saucers were beautiful.
All in all a lovely afternoon.
