Tifudi - Thai Food

I appreciated that they answered all my questions but I had a terrible reaction, so that food was NOT gluten free. This is the first time I've ever had trouble with Thai food; the traditional preparation of curry is already gluten free! Cannot recommend if you have celiac. Probably they do not understand cross contact. Their response of laughing at me shows they do not take any autoimmune or medical issues seriously and do not deserve any second chance!

I recently had dinner at Tifudi in Augusta. The food was good and quite fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. They offer gluten-free options, which is a great choice for those with dietary restrictions. The fried rice was particularly enjoyable. My party ordered the pad Thai and larb, both of which were well-prepared but the wait was near a hour. Frankly, the service was very slow. It took over 20 minutes to receive our drinks, (water and 2 Thai tea) even though the restaurant was not crowded at the time. We were also disappointed to find out they did not have any duck, which was one of the main dishes we had hoped to try. The restaurant has just opened, so we understand there may be some growing pains. The atmosphere was pleasant, and since the food was good overall, we plan to give it another try as they become more established.
