I went one weekend to try it, I have celiac disease and I don't eat gluten because it almost killed me a few years ago, and I asked the employee if there were gluten-free foods, he said almost all of them, I was super happy, I went to read the menu, it said that foods with gluten would be indicated by the letter [g] next to them, and those without gluten would have nothing. Ok, I asked about cross-contamination and the boy replied that it would only happen if I ordered two dishes together, one without and one with contamination, other than that there was no chance. Ok, I looked at the cookie (it didn't have the g, I called the boy to confirm, and he said "no, this one doesn't have gluten, you see, it doesn't have the [g]', ok I read a gluten-free leek quiche, I asked, I asked 2 cookies and a jackfruit burger, but I didn't even notice it was a burger with bread because it had another name, before ordering I confirmed once again that nothing I ordered had gluten, because whether I wanted to or not I know it's absurdly difficult to find these delicious gluten-free foods, almost nowhere has them, ok, I bought them for the trip and left in the car, I opened them and ate half a cookie, I ate half the mini quiche and then I was going to try the jackfruit, when I opened it there was a loaf of bread, I freaked out, I looked and I thought this bread definitely has gluten, I asked my boyfriend to turn the car around and take me back there, I'm going to ask him one more time, he thought it was nonsense since they had already told me that it didn't have it, but I know that bread is gluten-free. always has a texture different, I went back, I asked nervously and the boy said no, it's gluten-free, then someone else who also worked there and was behind turned around and said yes it was gluten-free, I asked about the menu, I said that the other one had assured me, and the boy He told me, this dish definitely has gluten, and I got super nervous and asked him about the cookies, it also had gluten, and as one thought it didn't and the other said yes, they went to ask in the kitchen, confirmation, I was poisoned, something absurdly serious poorly inspected, if it were milk I I would be in the hospital, I have been feeling the symptoms of my disease, I am weak with body aches and drowsy, only those who have experienced the worst of celiac disease recognize the symptoms of no longer having a life because they are sick. I didn't need to be like this, or feel like this, I'm extremely careful, and due to the negligence of this restaurant that with a different substance could have sent me to the hospital or even killed me, I'm exactly like I was a few years ago, destroyed by a disease that I thought was had already controlled. I found this really horrible and I would like to advise people with allergies like me, to be very, very careful when eating on the street and trusting food establishments.
