Intimate atmosphere that was festive and food was flavourful. Sushi appetizer was very good at the pricepoint: his quality and value. Careful for anyone gluten sensitive. We experienced cross-contamination from a separate dish prepared in the kitchen.

I love that it is usually quiet enough in the restaurant to hear my meal companions talking without having to shout. Unless the hibachi grill(s) is/are running, then it can be challenging to hear each other. The food is always good, served pretty quickly, and artfully arranged on the plates.
I do wish tamari was standard on every table for gluten free people like myself. I also wish that foods were labeled as being vegan, vegetarian, gluten free etc. I accidentally ordered a roll that isn't gluten free (didn't know it was battered), so I brought it home for my husband to eat.
