Tokyo Steakhouse

WOW! This place was a great experience. Celiac rejoice! They take is seriously here. My son's meal was cooked before certain spices were added. Steak was outstanding as well as everything else. I was surprised that is wasn't more expensive too! We'll be returning!!

The service here was a mixed bag. We initially walked in and a young woman said it would be a 20 minute wait, however while standing around, I realized the whole bar area was open and we were waiting for a hibachi table, which we actually didn't want due to one guest being gluten free. When I asked to sit at a booth, they were going to sit us at a table and my mom's back can't handle a chair, so I asked again for a booth. A slightly older woman stepped in and offered us a booth and was very accommodating and helpful. I wish I got her name because she was the best in the place. Our waitress was attentive until her guy friend showed up at the bar, then I had to track her down for a refill on an alcoholic drink that cost a pretty penny. You'd think they'd be falling over themselves to offer more drinks. Anyhow, the food was delicious, but cold. It was my birthday dinner and I was out with family, and we'd already waited a very long time, so I wasn't going to fuss, but the steak wasn't even luke-warm. The onion soup was very good, the wings were pretty good but basically came out with the entrees, and the edamame was good. If I went back, I'd probably sit at the hibachi to get hot food and better service.
