Food; ( they changed their menu from years ago ) Basic B: Toast is awesome, scambled eggs ain’t watery enough, sausage & bacon too oily & not crispy. Smoked Brats Rosti: Sunny side up is cooked perfectly, rosti is extremely oily, feels jelak after awhile. $5 Extra Bacon: A whole plate of oily bacon, non crispy. Matcha Latte: 4/5 Ice Chocolate: 4/5 Spent a total of $61+ for 2 pax. Takeaway: 30 cents extra so if you can’t finish your food & you wanna take away you have to pay extra. So do prepare an extra container if you wanna save money. Eco Friendly Factors: They provide Dine-In Cups at random or upon request, their sauce holder has been changed to small metal cups instead of plastics, unlike years ago. Ambience: Non Cafe vibe so if you are looking for a cafe to study / work or to take instagram pictures then no this is not for you. Indoor seatings are very noisy as everyone is trying to talk with limited cafe space. Outdoor can be quite hot and humid even tho theres ceiling fans. Price: $$$, alittle expensive but considered slightly better as compared to other cafes right now. Staff Service: Extremely friendly & helpful staff despite the crowd & stress they still try their best to put on a smile. Feel like they deserve a pay raise. Cafe Demand: Cafe is very small, cannot accomodate to the demand. Often have to queue. Used to have a standard queue but now you just go in at random which is pretty bad bc you don’t know where exactly does the queue start. Kitchen closes for more than 1 - 2 hours because they have too many backlog orders but they can’t fufil them, however their drinks & pastries are still available. Alot of things are sold out in their menu & they will indicate on the board outside, however sometimes they still run out of things and do not have the time to update the board so please check with the staff before you order or confirm seating. ( So you can backout before commiting to wait ) Food can take up to 1 hour to arrive your table, if you can’t wait, can go to the taiwanese cafe next door. Accesiblity: No Parking so you have to park at textile centre. Not wheelchair friendly unless you sit outside. Inclusiveness: Not much vegan option & no gluten free option.
