Excellent fish of the day, sea bass as well as salmon dish’s on the menu. Very nice wine list and nicer wines by the glass than other restaurants. We loved the brunello and the Syrah by the glass. Finally the chocolate torte was outstanding. Being gluten free, they took great care and consideration in preparation and explanation.

My husband and I loved our experience here they wee so knowledgeable about gluten free and everything we had was delicious!

Booked a Friday night table at this charming, oceanfront restaurant while in Santa Barbara for the weekend. White tablecloths, nicely-weighted flatware, and elegant stemware for your wine. Very intimate environment but not so that you are sitting with others. Floor plan is thoughtful; not crowded. The staff is kind, attentive, and friendly. They have synergy and work well together to serve the energetic and populated dining room. Food was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. My guest ordered the rigatoni with Italian sausage, both made in-house. It was perfectly sauced, flavorful, and bright. As a Sicilian woman, I thought the sausage was really tasty and the pasta had the perfect “chew” and saltiness. I started with the squash blossoms stuffed with goat cheese and peas. They were not fried for once and were delicate and not-too-rich. The orange citronette they were plated on was beautiful and unctuous to the palate. For my entrée, the lamb chops came on a bed of polenta with the most perfect addition of nutmeg. The vegetables, mostly bite-sized squashes and pearl onions scattered about the plate, were complimentary and savory. Lamb was perfect with its accompaniments and the reduction it sat atop of was decadent and yummy without thieving away any of the other flavors. Portions were generous and thoughtful. The dishes were beautifully plated. Menu is traditional but innovative. I am gluten intolerant and things are clearly marked on the menu and somewhat modifiable. Wine list and cocktails are 👌🏽 My experience was stellar and I recommend Toma highly to anyone visiting Santa Barbara.
