Tommys Tavern + Tap

Very good bar food and decently priced. First time here oddly, we went to the Clifton location. We enjoyed the wings, spinach dip, bbq bacon burger and Cuban sandwich. Fries are double battered, the best kind. The menu is HUGE which I always find very overwhelming but there’s something for everyone. Seems family friendly as well. Hard to find a great bar food scene/spot that isn’t a chilis or something chain like. I am glad that this concept is doing well and expanding. Service was fast and nice! Also was gluten free friendly!!!!

The servers are nice. There was a food order mixup unfortunately I ordered a caesar salad and specifically stated no protein I don't eat meat, and swapped the dressing for ranch. A food runner brought it out with a chicken cutlet on top. I sent it back saying sorry but I'm vegetarian this isn't what I ordered. They brought out a plain caesar salad but unfortunately I found pieces of chicken remnant as I was starting to eat it. They just took it off and brought it right back. I find this unacceptable and left without more discussion but if you have actual food allergies or gluten intolerance I absolutely would not eat here given this practice.
